History

God inspired us to begin helping young girls who were enslaved to sex traffickers in the fall of 2008. After three years of planning and working and building, our recovery home was built in the summer of 2012; completely furnished and mortgage free thanks to the generosity of so many amazing people within our community. Over the next five years, fifteen girls between the ages of 12 and 17 lived in our home. Our House Moms loved and cared for them and helped these young girls begin their lives anew. Now we are entering Phase 2 of The Daughter Project. We are no longer operating the recovery home so we are focusing our prayers and resources on the continuation of raising awareness of this horrific crime AND supporting Christian ministries like Covered and Rahab's Heart, here in Toledo. They help rescue and care for young girls and women from strip clubs and prostitution. We also continue to research and work with legislators; local, state and national as well as law enforcement professionals in order to create a slave-free community. Come join us.
